World Stem Cell Summit 2015: Best Practices for Core Laboratory Manager’s

The Biotrust's own Zachary Resch, Ph.D. was joined by Henry J. Walker (Mayo Clinic), Daniel Paull, Ph.D. (New York Stem Cell Foundation), and Ian McNiece, PhD (MD Anderson) to discuss the different methods each of their programs have used to achieve successful operation. Dr. Resch started the session by providing an overview of Mayo Clinic's Center for Regenerative Medicine Platforms, the Biotrust, Human Cell Therapy Lab (HCTL), Advanced Products Incubator (API), and Biomaterials Facility. He focused on Biotrust and Human Cell Therapy Labs.  Henry Walker, then went on to discuss API and the Biomaterials Facility.  After the in depth discussion by Resch and Walker of Mayo Clinic's Center for Regenerative Medicine Platforms, Dr. Paull followed up with an in depth overview of NYSCF's systems and procedures. Dr. Ian McNiece was moderating the discussion and additionally provided insight on the techniques his MD Anderson program has used as well.
